Reunion Experience for Healers of Color
Creating experiences to nurture the well-being of wellness professionals who support the healing of our communities
Project Description
HOW IT STARTED
On June 19, 2021, I decided to create an intimate picnic experience to pour into the mental health and continued healing of my fellow healers and mental health professionals. And it was a success!! So, it was without doubt that I made the picnic a yearly healing experience—sort of like a "family reunion" for healers of color.
WHY A PICNIC?
Mental health professionals and healers experience burnout in their profession (particularly during this pandemic!). It's so important that we also have spaces that nurture the well-being of those who support the healing of our communities. The picnic is that space to relieve stress and enjoy a care-free environment outside of our professional lives with other like-minded individuals.
NEXT STEPS
Let's join together to raise funds for the Surrender2Thrive Annual Picnic! Donations will help solidify a beautiful space for the event, food and drinks, guest speakers, supplies, and self-care packages for each guest (were increasing the number of guests next year!). I truly appreciate your help in making this year's picnic the best yet!

A limited number of tickets will be offered to those who would love to join us for this special and invite-only event!
Each ticket includes food, drinks, professional fun photoshoot, curated self-care package, and so much more! Please be aware that this event is for mental health professionals, healers, and advocates of color. This will be a great gift for someone in your community, a close friend, or family member if you do not identify as a person of color. :)
Just Because I Care
Thank you!
I created an ebook that focuses on five things we may not realize we needed to let go to live whole or fulfilling lives. It’s important to reflect and dive deeper into what we choose to hold on to, especially if those attachments are harmful to us. I also included some reflection questions that could be used as journaling prompts or to discuss with a close friend(s) or therapist.
I hope this information will help start meaningful conversations and take action to release what may be holding you back while on your personal growth/healing journey.
