My business is in the Accommodations and Hospitality industry. It is a newly owned black restaurant that I run with my husband who is a combat veteran and we sale all natural African Dishes. Our flavors are very diverse and tasteful and strait from the motherland itself. I’ve been working on this idea for a long time but haven’t sold anything yet. I have limited resources to build this business. I have been funding it out of my own pocket and now we are in a bind with the fact the both my husband and I are currently not working due to the fact that I just had a seizure this past April and my husband has been home taking care of me because simply the doctors are not sure on what is causing them so he had to take off work to be able to monitor me so it doesn't happen again. I was lucky he was home because if not who knows what could’ve happened to me. Ever since then we have been pinching from our savings to stay maintain our home. Our business is already certified it has just been a hassle trying to get funding for a building and equipment. This has always been a dream to run our own restaurant so that we can spread our love for food and our culture to our community. So if anyone can bless us with anything to help it definitely would surely be appreciated and just know that we will always be forever grateful.
