Purpose-Driven Startup for Minority Woman
Being in the minority only leaves room to grow into the majority as a woman entrepreneur.

Project Description
BookWorm Catalyst was born from my passion for books, knowledge, and business. As a minority Hispanic woman, I have experienced poverty firsthand. Growing up in public housing and with little money, a seed for a better life was planted. The adversity and necessity I succumbed to in my early years only strengthened my desire to one day own my own business and be successful. I knew I didn't have to follow my parent's steps and conform to the bare necessities. Therefore, knowledge was the only thing that separated me from being a successful entrepreneur. I took to reading and learning everything I could get my hands on, which I highly enjoyed because I love reading.
In the end, I realized that my community lacks financial literacy. Hence, I created a business that helps other women learn about business and provides them with the keys to starting their own.
Conformity and settling is not an option in my business. I know every woman can succeed given the right knowledge and tools. The funding for my business will go towards product development, purchasing inventory, and investing in marketing to reach the full spectrum of minority women.
Every product my business sells has the potential to change a woman's life. Therefore, I thank you in advance for being part of that change and impacting women's lives. I appreciate your gratitude and guarantee it will not be in vain.
