Providing an Equitable Education

• Fortlo Academy is dedicated to providing a million-dollar education to ALL families. Using various pedagogies, Fortlo uses technology, games, arts,  and real-life application of learning through portfolio-based assessments and projects in addition to field trips, practicums, and working with professionals in the field related to their learning. Our mission is to motivate children to love to learn.
• The education system is in crisis, the more testing they do the larger the gaps in learning in various demographics and populations. Children are graduating from high-school with no desire to learn and many drop out of college or don't even attempt to go because of their distaste of education or their belief that they are incapable.
• Although there are numerous public and charter schools, they still are bound to the same testing and procedures that are not providing what our children need in the classroom. Additionally, private schools that foster and provide unique opportunities are beyond most families' reach. Fortlo Academy matches sponsors with parents and supplies scholarships so they can receive the services of our afterschool program and/or attend our private school.
• Funding will be used to offset tuition and fees for our students. Additionally, it will help provides the resources for their unique educational experiences.

• Scholarships to families to assist in offsetting costs to attend our school
• Support expansion of the school by acquiring more space for more learning opportunities
• Fund field trips
• Fund our different learning labs
• Purchase technology
• Fund our Lego League
• Support the afterschool program
