Project Description
The mission of Profound Brown is to empower young girls in grades P-12 spiritually, mentally, and socially through a shared love of literature. Girls who identify as BIPOC will read works that display us as three-dimensional human beings with stories full of love, laughter, and life.
Vision Statement
The vision of Profound Brown is to manifest a safe place for black and brown girls where they develop a love for reading and love for self.
Funding would assist in placing books in the hands of girls from lesser served communities by covering book purchase and shipping.

What is Profound Brown?
A subscription based book club driven by educators with over 50 years combined experience.
How does the the subscription work?
In addition to quarterly book discussions that encourage scholars to talk about what they’re reading, “PB” offers life skills events such as etiquette, tutorial services, homework help, and counseling by a master licensed social worker.
