Tinted-Glass BIPOC Careers -- Keeping Corporate America Accountable!

Project Description
Merging technology and community to provide an intentional space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to network and address underrepresentation, inequity, and inclusion in Corporate America.

When the idea and concept for Tinted-Glass was conceived in 2020, it was during the height of a global pandemic and the start of a racial reckoning across the country, bringing generational systemic racism and bias to the forefront.

The issues of systemic toxic corporate culture, especially toward Black, Indigenous, and people of color, have always existed. And while the events of 2020 initially served to raise the consciousness about the systemic inequities and biases faced by BIPOCs in Corporate America, the efforts to implement cultures and meaningful commitment and accountability to diversity, equity and inclusion have seemingly stalled. And we’re back to “business as usual.”
The Tinted-Glass BIPOC Careers team is passionate about keeping Corporate America accountable for enabling and fostering cultures where everyone — particularly those of different race or ethnicity – feel equally engaged, supported, and included in all parts of the workplace.

Through the Tinted-Glass platform, we aim to ensure that our members receive the proper support and resources needed to thrive, ascend and be successful in corporate spaces. And we’ll do this by helping BIPOCs to:
- Seek out positions at companies that are known for, and serious about their efforts to support a culture that is inclusive, makes employees feel they belong and provides equitable opportunities for growth and advancement.
- Network with other industry professionals
- Gain professional insights from industry experts
- Report and review the diversity, inclusion, and belonging aspects of their companies
We started building our platform in 2021, using personal funds from our six founders, and contributions of time and effort from our faithful volunteers. They are just as passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion as we are. But we are still in critical need of additional funding to bring us to the finish line and launch this Summer.
We are asking our community to help us raise $150,000 to make the Tinted-Glass the “must-use” platform for BIPOCs to enhance their careers, network, and most importantly, keep their employers accountable for commitments made to meaningful diversity, equity, and inclusion within their organizations.

Is there a deadline to redeem my reward?
The redemption of activity-based rewards (Hip-Hop History Lesson, Virtual Dance Lesson, Marketing Forensic Review, Brand Audit, and Leadership Training) must be completed by December 30, 2022. Other awards, (Social Media Shout outs, Vlog/Blog posts, and memberships) will be transacted no later than 90-days from the date of your contribution.
How do I collect my contribution reward(s)?
Contributors to activity-based rewards (Hip-Hop History Lesson, Virtual Swing Dance Lesson, Marketing Forensic Review, Brand Audit, and leadership training sessions) must first schedule an appointment to redeem your reward. Appointments to redeem must be scheduled no later than 90 days from the date of your contribution. The deadline to redeem rewards is December 30, 2022. Please contact XXXX to schedule.
Is Tinted-Glass live? When can I join?
Tinted-Glass is in the final stages of platform development. A large portion of your contribution will be used to support the completion of this development and bring us to the final launch.
