La Plantureuse is a women's intimate company that is proud to be body inclusive and specialize in plus size, large bust, and other beautiful body shapes. Our products offer support, comfortability, and style that larger women desire as well as providing unique sizing and customization to meet any need.

Who Am I

     My name is Amanda Henson and I am the Owner/Operator of La Plantureuse and the inspiration behind the brand. Because of my personal experiences and family connections, La Plantureuse was created and has a creative meaning. Our name means “The Busty” in French.

     You may ask yourself what makes me different. Well, I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Small Business. Not only do I have the knowledge and understanding of starting and running a business, but the experience with plus size intimates and how they fit. I know first hand of the struggles faced in the plus size intimates community because I too am plus size and have experienced breast cancer scares, backaches, chronic pain as a result of improper intimates. Not only will this solution be for others but for myself as well. 

Our Problem

     Here’s the problem today: Women with larger breasts or thicker hips need and want intimates that fit properly instead of generic designs with more material. Why are these impractical? 1.The support fails after a few wears; 2. Straps fall or constantly dig in shoulders; 3. Spillage or the product sits incorrectly on your body; 4. Material is uncomfortable; and 5. Very limited designs, patterns, or colors offered.

Our Solution

      La Plantureuse solves these problems by providing redesigned intimates with more support needed to hold or hug every curve while being comfortable and stylish by:

1. Providing a completely engineered intimate to withstand the extra weight;
2. Providing thicker straps that taper and adjust;
3. Providing larger and fuller intimates to accommodate wider or curver women;
4. Using materials that are antimicrobial, wicking, cool touch, UV protected, anti odor, and have many features;
5. Providing more colors, patterns, and designs to suit each individual woman. 

Our Audience

     Therefore my audience is plus size ladies who are done settling with traditional intimates which are truly designed for smaller women. According to NPD over half of the women in the United States are considered plus size by the apparel they wear. Let's come together and break this standard that all plus size or busty ladies are the same. We are unique and beautifully made and should be treated as such.
