Growing CannaCulture is an upcoming educational platform focused on cannabis consumption.
How Growing CannaCulture Will Revolutionize the Cannabis Industry
Cannabis consumption is on the rise as more people gain access to the legal market across the country. This includes now 40 U.S. states with medicinal access and 23 U.S. state plus D.C. with recreational access as of August 2023 (Source: MJBiz Daily). As cannabis access increases, so does the need educational resources about how to consume what is available on the market. This is where Growing CannaCulture will fill the biggest gap in the cannabis industry: Consumer Education.
Growing CannaCulture will provide educational information utilizing a format focused on the consumer. Unique in design, GCC’s platform online will offer an interactive guided learning experience, allowing consumers to find products best fit for their lifestyle with ease.
The Mission
The main goal of GCC is the focus on accessibility of educational resources for cannabis consumers. This will be highlighted with two main aspects: the platform being available for FREE and translated to various languages.
Connecting the Culture to the Consumer
Growing CannaCulture’s educational platform aims to be most accurately representative of the culture of the cannabis community as possible. With this philosophy, the information available through GCC will be created in collaboration with everyone from industry experts to everyday stoners. This platform will build a community between new and regular consumers by communicating tips and techniques often passed only by word of mouth.
Bringing Education to the Forefront
Prioritizing the accessibility of educational resources means placing them where they would be most useful, at the point of sale. In order to encourage safe informed exploration of the cannabis market, GCC will bring its materials to consumers in dispensary storefronts. In addition to an online platform, GCC will offer a B2B subscription service of educational handouts to dispensaries across the U.S.
What are the Crowdfunding Donations Supporting?
Growing CannaCulture needs help from those passionate about cannabis, its culture, and community to make Growing CannaCulture a reality! These funds from the crowdfunding campaign will allow the online educational platform to be created professional as well as enabling beta-testing of GCC's educational resources in dispensaries in Southern California.

I received my B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Food Science in December 2021 from North Carolina State University. Following graduation, I found myself moving across the country to work with product development for a cannabis edibles start-up in Los Angeles, CA. Diving into the cannabis industry through work and personal experience sparked my passion for the plant, all the good it can do, and what has yet to be discovered.
Since moving to CA, I have been able to enjoy the benefits of cannabis in my life for help with anxiety, sleep and productivity. However, my journey to find the right products for myself was not without a learning curve. It became apparent during my extensive online searching that information about cannabis consumption was limited.
While working at a popular dispensary in SoCal, I was positioned face-to-face with novice and experienced cannabis consumers alike lacking resources to understand all the various products available on the market. Having access to educational materials discussing all the cannabis forms and the chemistry behind the "high" will overall improve consumer experience inside and outside of a dispensary.
This brought me to utilize my background, experiences and passion for cannabis to help others understand more about cannabis use.
Growing CannaCulture aims to provide educational material about cannabis consumption online and within dispensaries, working to reduce fears, break down stigma, and encourage informed consumption.
