• What is crowdfunding, and what does it mean to purchase a "reward?

Crowdfunding is a way to help fund the initial production of a new product.  This is frequently done through pre-orders of the product.  When purchasing a reward, you are pre-ordering the product as a supporter of the first production run.

• How to support this project?

The right side of the funding page has a list of rewards.  Scroll through, find the one you want and click the yellow button that says SELECT THIS REWARD.

• Why is it more expensive than other quilting fabric?

The biggest challenge with a product like this is "buying power," which we do not have as a new company.

COST OF FABRIC + PACKAGING + SHIPPING FROM KOREA + CUSTOMS + WAREHOUSE/FULFILLMENT +  SHIPPING TO CUSTOMER = PRICE REFLECTED

The larger a company becomes and can buy more, we then have negotiating power for the cost of goods, fulfillment, and shipping.  In the beginning, we are paying a higher cost for all of these things.  Through your support and generosity, this will allow us to have a place in the quilting space that is different from anything that currently exists.  It is my hope that we will be able to be a high quality fabric company with multiple price points so that everyone will have the opportunity to purchase Peinte & Co. Fabrics.

• Is my payment secure?

I Fund Women is a reputable crowdfunding site where all purchases are made through STRIPE.   Stripe is a credit card processing provider that processes payments securely.

• What if your campaign doesn't get fully funded?

Regardless of whether we reach our target goal, we will still produce all rewards purchased.

Because we are still in the "proof of concept" phase, this target number is really to help determine if quilters and sewists want what we are offering.  We have no limits as to what our printing mill will do, so everything purchased has the ability to still be made regardless of production minimum orders.

• When can I expect to receive my fabric?

We have set a target delivery date of July for fabrics, and August for Kits.  However this is variable based on the number of backers.  If we get a lot of interest (we hope we do!), this may increase the time needed in order to print, ship from Korea, process, and ship out to customers.  

As part of your participation in the campaign, it is our job to be in consistent and reliable communication with you about the status of this production run.  We will share all updates here on the I FUND WOMEN platform.

• What is the return policy for purchasing through I FUND WOMEN?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns through the I Fund Women platform.  If you are truly saddened by your purchase, please contact directly and we will work to make it right.

• Where is the fabric made?

All fabric will be digitally printed by one of the best printing mills in South Korea. 

• What is the quality of the fabric?

This is a mill that I personally have a long standing relationship with through various companies.  I believe their quality to be some of the best in the quilting and crafting industry.
