Project Description
Peace Be Still Yoga, LLC, also known as PBSY, was founded in October 2020. Before our official launch, our team members built a firm base of clientele, provided free pop-up yoga instruction and monthly community service opportunities surrounding mental health, financial literacy, and social justice reform. We create a productive yet relaxing environment for clients of disenfranchised communities to feel welcome. The mainstream Western culture can often feel intimidating with pressure to fit a particular superficial mold. However, at PBSY, we aim to reflect the nuclear thread of yoga and teach clients that yoga is about finding stillness amid struggle, peace in hardship, continually growing, never resting on one’s laurels.
PBSY provides tools to improve one's yoga practice and quest for self-realization and clarity through guided Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Vinyasa yoga teachings, meditation, and philosophy. We seek to expand our business operations, accessibility to clients, and bandwidth for ongoing community service projects.
