Paddy & Liam's Organization start - up

Paddy and Liam’s Organization’s mission is to raise money to help fund indigent and uninsured individuals in our community who are struggling with mental illness and addiction. I Emily Guillory am striving to help these individuals because I am in recovery myself. I have struggled most of my life with both of these illnesses. Two years ago I lost my 13-month-old son and his father due to the disease of addiction. It has been my passion since losing my son to begin this nonprofit in honor of him. That being said we want to be a safe space that people can turn to in times of dire need. We are the help that individuals and families who are struggling turn to when trying to find a happier and healthier way of living. To be able to get these individuals into any rehabilitation facility that meets their specific needs. Along with raising the funds to further educate our community as a whole about mental illness and addiction. We do this by spreading awareness about these illnesses as well as having resources and research readily available for individuals and their families. We strive to also educate the community in many ways about the different ways of harm reduction. We accomplish this by being advocates for those in need as well as providing whatever we can to help those in need succeed and better understand.
