The Campaign FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions:
How can I contact you? We recommend email, [email protected], but if you prefer social media use your favorite platform to reach out.
When will I get my reward? Shipping should begin in November 2018.
Besides donating, how else can I support you? You can share our campaign with your network!
Why IFW? IFW gives female entrepreneurs the flexibility we need to have a successful campaign, whether it's the ability to extend our end date giving us more time to succeed, or even adjusting our goal along the way. Their Slack network allowed me to gain better insights into how to run our crowdfunding campaigns and business. I didn't want to go it alone, with IFW I felt part of a supportive group! Also attractive is that IFW directly reinvests 20% of our revenues from standard fees into active campaigns on the platform.
Why are you crowdfunding instead of pursuing traditional funding streams? After spending 10 years in national security our founder's chronic illness, Ankylosing Spondalytis, worsened. She found herself being referred to disability. While awaiting her disability hearing over the last three years she was placed on public assistance. Her monthly allowance is $187 a month.
She turned to entrepreneurship after recognizing that she could no longer thrive in a traditional work setting.
How will you update me on the progress? We will post updates and comments right here!
What is the smallest amount I can donate? $5! We are open to any amount, it is the thought that counts!
