Oh Gosh Kids Studio

Who are we?

Oh Gosh is a kids activity based company owned by Ashley Emery founded July 2021. We create experiences that encourage families to create, imagine  & play together. We offer parent & me classes, arts & crafts private group bookings/birthday parties, and kid activity kits that can be delivered to your home. The age range for our activities are from 6 months to 6 years old.

Our exciting sensory classes are hands-on project-based classes for your little ones to explore textures, colors, and even scents. Every activity kit comes with all the “tools” and play prompts for tons of fun. We have been operating at pop up indoor locations and outdoor parks. We are looking forward to opening up a studio in our local community of Long Beach to be the first parent & me studio in the area. We plan to host a variety of classes; Baby & Me Yoga, Infant Massages, Storytime with Puppets, Zumbini, & more. Classes are taught in English & Spanish. 

Our Team

Oh Gosh is currently operated by Ashley Emery and DeAnna Warren. Ashley & DeAnna were born & raised in Long Beach. Ca. They created this company with their core values that come from being raised in a big & close knit family. Both Ashley & DeAnna are mothers to babies & toddlers, so they bring their first hand experience into class curriculum. DeAnna & Ashley have been working as a dynamic team their whole life. These sisters have a collective of ten plus years in project management, event planning, kid class instruction & entrepreneurship. Together they are able to create fun & nurturing environments that will foster family bonding, new & safe exploration, & family fun. 

 Upon opening our studio we will plan to hire three part time instructors on staff for the diverse parent & me class offerings. In addition, we plan to have internship & volunteer opportunities for local students that want to gain more experience in child development, organizational management, marketing & overall experience in servicing family & children.

In addition, our classes allow babies & toddlers to see how others will react to their behaviors which is critical for social development.

4.Improves Mood: We have all heard that exercising improves mood, but did you know Parent & and Me Classes can do the same thing? Besides getting you out of the house and meeting new people, it also gets you up and physically active which helps release endorphins. Our Parent & Me classes incorporate some of your child & parent music favorites. Our instructors utilize a variety of movements in class from playing instruments, play & learn activities, stretches, dance & more.This is especially important for those that experience symptoms of postpartum depression, baby blues, or need a change of scenery from the stay at home/work from home environment. 

5. Fosters Language Development: As kids play and watch others, they are taking in language. They are listening to what everyone says from the parents to the kids to the teachers. This allows them to develop vocabulary and increase auditory skills. Participating in Parent and Me classes also helps children understand how to follow directions. Our classes are currently in English & Spanish. We look forward to introducing other foreign languages upon hiring instructors. 

Funding Goals

We want to receive funding to open up our studio in Long Beach, Ca in early 2022. Your contributions will be a part of our operational budget which cover our inventory, studio furniture, and will give us the opportunity to hire instructors to offer a variety of Parent & Me classes. Some of the big ticket items we plan to use funding for are interior design, kids furniture & activity inventory. In addition to commercial air purifiers,  hand sanitizer machines, masks, etc. to aid the healthy safety of our visiting families. We aim to utilize this space for classes, workshops, and offer the space for private group bookings for events such as an indoor birthday party. 

Currently, we don't employ anyone. Ashley Emery has self funded the business since July 2021. We look forward to receiving your monetary investment in our expansion from our home to directly to our community. We sincerely thank you for your support!
