Grocery shopping, nutrition labels, and diet messaging are triggering and everywhere.  Not to mention that measuring ingredients to ensure portion accuracy is stressful and confusing.  Nourishing yourself becomes a constant source of anxiety and often leads to nutritional inaccuracy for those in recovery.  

SOLUTION

A dietitian-prescribed meal service.  Nutriste offers personalized meals that cater to anyone on their recovery journey regardless of their eating disorder, size, or gender.  Here is how it works:

1. Dietitians prescribe a meal plan that is medically tailored to meet their clients' needs.
2. Clients order their meals.
3. We prepare, package, and deliver ready-made meals to their doors and remove the stress and anxiety that comes with following meal plans.

WHERE WE ARE

We conducted beta testing for the last several months. We delivered more than 1,000 meals to our incredible customers and have created a community of more than 100 RDNs, and we are partnering with several premier eating disorder treatment facilities in the NYC area. We have seen how impactful easy access to nutritious meals is in eating disorder recovery. Now let's grow together!

1. Scalable Production Facility: Nutriste needs more space. By partnering with a co-manufacturer, we will increase the number of meals we can make.
2. Expanded Delivery Zone: Nutriste will utilize a large-scale courier service so we can deliver to people across the country.
3. Optimized Website: Nutriste needs a website to support this growth with increased speed, transparency, and ordering ease. 
4. Enhanced Packaging: Nutriste will invest in sustainable packaging solutions so we will reduce unnecessary, one-time-use materials.
5. Strengthened community: Nutriste will build out our customer support services so we can increase our dietitian connections and treatment center collaborations. 

WHO WE ARE

Amy Moreyra struggled with an eating disorder for 12 years, and she stopped meeting with the first dietitian she worked with because she couldn't follow her meal plan. If she had access to a service that essentially did everything for her - she would have stayed in nutrition therapy. 

Markay Bressler, MBA, RDN is a registered dietitian who specializes in assisting those in eating disorder recovery. She has a passion for this community, as these disorders have impacted her life in many ways. She has led several global food companies' growth teams; and is the Founder and Clinical Executive Director at All Voices Nutrition.
