About Us:
NiyaLee’s Beauty Supply store is derived from a place a love. After many years of experiencing walking into a beauty supply store where the owners were unable to help me find products that worked for my black hair or they seemed unwilling to assist, I decided that my community needed something better.
NiyaLee, named after my daughters, Janiyah and Maleah, aims for quality customer service and product availability. We strive to be sure to provide the products that our customers needed and even label each section of our store to guide the customer to more a beneficial shopping experience.
Our Mission:
Our products provide availability of natural hair products for customers who are fully natural, transitioning naturalists, loced customers, and even for chemically treated hair.
NiyaLee meets the needs of the Indianapolis community by providing product availability tailored to our hair types and excellent customer service from professionals that are aware of black hair care and how it should be maintained.
NiyaLee is committed to being a pilar in our community and a resource for all of your hair care needs in the Indianapolis area.
Our Campaign:
With the funds we raise through this campaign, we will:
- Ensure that we have the product availability for our customers via our numerous vendor relationships.
- Secure a brick and mortar space in the Indianapolis area by September 2022.

- What location will your business serve: The east side of Indianapolis, IN lacks the presence of a black owned beauty supply store. We as black women spend nine times more in beauty and hair care than any other race. Beauty supply stores in this area are owned by males of other races who lack knowledge on products that are most beneficial to their consumer. Not only that, but the customer service is concerning to say the least. NiyaLee's Beauty wants to change that narrative by bringing a black owner to service the needs of a primarily black community.
- Is there a physical location at this time: With the contributions from this campaign, NiyaLee will be able to establish a brick and mortar location within Indianapolis.
