Nina's: A NYC safe space for culture & community

Project Description
- Nina's Love LLC is a small business owned by a Black Queer Womyn from Queens, NY. Nina’s is a multifaceted safe space dedicated to the nourishment of the body, mind and soul whose name is inspired from the movie Love Jones.
- Nina's will nourish the body of New Yorkers with its rooftop restaurant that will serve affordable meals & donate all remaining food to the hungry and homeless community at the end of each night. We will nourish the minds of New Yorkers, in our first level book lounge where they can enjoy a good book and age-appropriate drink and in our basement level's workshop arena where they can expect free beautifully curated classes on financial literacy, tax prep and other necessary life tools. And, we will nourish the souls of New Yorkers with the great vibe and community events like open mic nights that will be hosted in the book lounge and family nights where strangers sit next to each other for a hot meal that will be hosted in the restaurant. Nina's will pay homage to my family and to my city, it will offer education and resources to the underprivileged communities and it will celebrate culture and diversity.
- All funding received in support of this project will be used for inventory, real estate, design, equipment, etc.

- What will my donation be used for? All contributions will be used to create, build and furnish Nina’s Love LLC.
- Does donating multiple times qualify me for the rewards? Each donation over $250 qualifies for its own reward. Donations are not tallied up to qualify for rewards.
- Are rewards transferable? If you would like to make the donation in someone else’s name, feel free to do so this way they can receive the reward.
- Why donate if I’m not eligible for a reward? The real reward is being apart of a project that is setting forth to change and uplift our community. And, really it takes a village so we need your help.
