- Businesses begin very often and this has caused a shortage in real genuine products, especially when it comes to hair extensions. The fashion aspect of the business is primarily focused on increasing a unique apparel with a precise mix of streetwear and chic accessory items. The mission of the company is to eliminate hesitation and insecurity within women who have to question the quality of hair items or fashion apparel compared to the overall market.
- Describe the problem you are solving.
- The fashion world is heavily divided between high-end items and cheap items. There is no happy medium for the African American lady culture that provides exceptional quality at a suitable price for hair extensions and fashionable accessories.
- What is the market size/opportunity?
- The hair market is oversaturated with vendors and shops that lack in quality assurance. The fashion market is oversaturated with vendors and shops that are huge on duplications instead of more unique and distinct items. Both markets give KALOUR the opportunity to shine through with proven and consistent quality, while still putting unique and beneficial items in the market to the common target audience.
- What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem?
- Our brand solves the issue stated above by bridging the gap between cheap and high-end items. KALOUR tests for exceptional quality assurance and makes the items accessible to ladies at suitable prices. This encourages a process of adding value to the mindset and apparel of women, at their will, through fashion. The brand also provides a network of similar women who experienced or are still developing their purpose and self-esteem.
- Why are you seeking funding and how will you spend the funding?
- I am seeking funding because KALOUR is growing at an accelerated rate. I wish to keep up with all of the new traffic and recognitions, but I lack in consistent resources. The funding will be used to get and maintain packaging, supplies, new products, employment, a suitable office space, and any other purchases that are necessary to ensure the company is held up to the best standards to run more efficiently.
- Who is on your team?
- I am backed by myself and close friends who I wish to hire to appropriately pay for their consistent assistance. I also have future potential prospects and angels who are welcome to the join the team as well!
