MY MISSION:

Hi, I’m Mermaid Emsley, and my mission is to create sound healing sanctuaries where music is medicine. To make this vision a reality, I’m raising funds to attend the Bass on the Bayou Music Production Retreat, hosted by the Ancient Future Collective from November 2-6, 2024. This transformative experience will allow me to connect and learn from producers like Savej, Habitat, and Geometra - masters of shamanic bass - to further hone my craft in creating musical medicine for the soul. Immersing myself in this community will give me the tools, insights, and collaborations needed to inspire a global movement focused on creating sound healing music and building sanctuaries that promote a soulful wellness experience. 

VISION FOR SOLUTIONS:

I know many of us are feeling the call to revive this ancient wisdom from our ancestors. So, Instead of journeying this path alone, I’m here to lead the way and foster a vibrant community of like-minded souls who resonate with this mission. Together, we will rediscover our innate gifts and share them with the world.

At the heart of this vision is the SOS Project—to create beautiful sound healing sanctuaries nestled in the heart of nature. These sanctuaries won’t be traditional concert spaces; instead, they’ll offer immersive, co-creative experiences where music becomes a bridge—connecting us with ourselves, each other, and the Earth. Here, sound will play an integral role in emotional, spiritual, and mental healing, inviting people to engage and interact with one another on a deeper, soul-stirring level.

Imagine walking into a lush garden where the air hums with frequencies attuned to your very being, where music isn’t just heard—it’s felt. Every note, every tone will be crafted to heal, uplift, and unify. The SOS Project isn’t just a vision—it’s a sacred space where transformation happens, where we come together to grow, learn, and awaken through the universal language of music.

With the wellness market expected to surpass $7 trillion by 2025, there’s a growing demand for sound healing and holistic experiences. By attending this retreat, I’m stepping into a thriving community of healers, artists, and wellness seekers, positioning myself in an expanding market where music and healing align.

I’m seeking funding for travel, lodging, tuition, and equipment to attend this retreat. Your support will help me connect with like-minded musicians, learn new techniques, and begin creating the music that will one day support sound healing sanctuaries.
