The Museum For Black Girls is an immersive, interactive space created to honor and celebrate the stories, joy, and creativity of Black women and girls. It’s a museum where Black girls can see themselves reflected in every exhibit, every corner, and every experience.

2. Why are you expanding to Atlanta?

After years of successful pop-ups across Denver, Houston, DC, and Boulder, Atlanta was the next natural step for us. Atlanta has an incredible legacy of Black excellence, and we’re excited to build a permanent home for the museum that can become a cultural landmark for Black girls across the city. Our expansion will allow us to host more events, create long-term community engagement, and provide space for more young Black girls to learn, create, and grow.

3. How will the funds be used?

Your generous donations will directly fund:

• Lease and deposit for our 5,000 sq ft ATL location

• Interior buildout (walls, furniture, lighting, signage)

• Moving and shipping costs for exhibits and materials from Denver

• Community events, artist fees, and launch celebrations

• Hiring and training of the ATL team

We want to make sure every penny of your donation is accounted for as we bring the magic to ATL.
