Mia Charming Sweets

Mia Charming Sweets is a small black owned Southern Comfort dessert Bar located in Milwaukee, WI. We are highly dedicated to providing high -quality desserts in a comfortable atmosphere for consumers who seeka fun "gourmet" experience outside of restaurants. 

Mia Charming Sweets brings a Southern Comfort feel to the baking industry in Wisconsin. We aim to continue to provide a fun loving enviornment, while holdin g true to our Southern roots. We intend to create a market of products  through our philosphy of "Indulge In Something Sweet". 

Mia Charming Sweets Focuses on local markets with a special focus on restaurant customers. Because Wisconsin is an excellent market for southern comfort desserts, our market is divided into four different psychographics.  Comfort Creatures, Celebrators, Gourmet wanna-bes and Sports Moms, each group represent a group of people that share similar behavior in taste patterns and reasons they love to patronize Mia Charming Sweets. 

Mia Charming Sweets sell gourmet dessert jars, coupled with our exceptional southern style pound cakes, pies and cobblers. Customers can order custom desserts or order carry-out treats for the entire family to enjoy. 

Mia Charming Sweets is seeking funding to help grown our market size,  we also hope to expand our brand to regional markets in the near future. We woud like also are looking to purchase commercial stove and other appliances that will help us to be able to continuously service our customers. Mia Charming sweets is also looking to expand to an online store, as well as purchase supplies and materials for our retail location. 

The Team 

Shnisha Mimis is the heart and soul of Mia Charming Sweets, her love for baking began as a young child. As a self taught baker, Shnisha's passion grew from watching numerous youtube tutorial videos. In 2017 Shnisha began baking for family and friends out of her home, Remarkably Shnisha became known for her famous banana pudding Jars. In 2019 Shnisha decided it was time to bring her dream to life. After numerous pop-up shops, she opened a retail shop in June of 2020.
