Merry Beth Myrick Designs

Based in Nashville, Merry Beth Myrick Designs is a fresh and timeless line of self-expressive jewelry with a strong emphasis on American sourcing.

Merry Beth is an "organic rebel" when it comes to perfection and would prefer the originality, sophistication, uniqueness, and quality craftsmanship of her work take precedence over perfection.

All of the textures, molds, and patterns in Merry Beth Myrick Designs are created in her East Nashville studio and are exclusive to her work.

Who is Merry Beth?

Merry Beth is a self-taught silversmith and owner of Merry Beth Myrick Designs. Merry Beth Myrick Designs is hand-forged jewelry created to empower women by evoking positive emotions. Merry Beth uses sterling silver, copper, deerskin leather, and rough-cut stones. Her heart is poured into each piece, and she truly believes that positive energy passes on to the wearer. She also is committed to supporting local and/or small businesses so all of her materials are American sourced with the exception of a few stones, which are ethically sourced.

Her work is a reflection of the raw feelings which flow through us.

It's about self-discovery + realization in order to reclaim a part of ourselves we lost along the way.

By accepting our true selves + our imperfections, we can become a wild warrior who is honestly fulfilled.

Once self-love is rediscovered, truth is embraced as a beautifully flawed gift to the soul.

Hard work and a strong, loyal clientele have allowed Merry Beth to be a full-time jewelry designer for the past six years. She loves what she does and wants to share the passion by getting her jewelry in front of more women who believe beauty shines from within.

Our iFundWomen Campaign

We are raising funds on iFundWomen to expand to wholesale accounts, to create an entire collection, purchase the materials to create said collection, and team up with other boss ladies for line sheets, catalogs, PR, and other professional services.

We also hope to showcase Merry Beth Myrick Designs at large buyer's markets to get in front of store owners and/or buyers who support American made products.

Our goal is to show at three markets and host twelve trunk shows in twelve different cities, at least 150 miles outside of Nashville, in the fall of 2017 and spring of 2018.

The Campaign FAQs

I'm prepared for challenges. They are inevitable, and I've never backed down from one, especially when it had to do with my career. The biggest challenges of a one-woman production line are keeping up with the demand and forming a savvy team. I'm not new to this business--in fact, I'm in my eleventh year. I know I can handle the demand, delegate what I can't handle, and I know where to find my A-Team.

The shows I want to get in to are juried shows. I'm new to the buyer's markets, and there is a chance I may not get in. I will apply to more if that happens. My designs are timeless, so trends and seasons do not matter. Also, I will have my collection and can still do twelve trunk shows + add more to the calendar. I will meet my goal of wholesale accounts even if I'm not juried in for certain markets. It will be harder work, but that's a challenge I'm prepared to look straight in the eye. Good news is that trunk shows are the lowest risk of any retail business because the overhead cost is minimal, which is marvelous because every dollar goes directly back into the business!

My goal is to get orders out within three weeks. I realize if I get many orders at once that may be impossible because I create each piece by hand, but I will be honest with buyers and fill their orders in the time frame I give them. Also, it will make timeliness much easier having a collection and a system in place. The time frame may be out of my control at times. That's where my love for communication with my clients comes into play.

I know this business. I've wanted to expand my line for a several years, but the capital hasn't been there. God is in charge of this journey, and I believe that He is telling me it's time. Not to sound cheesy or anything, but when all of the important things start lining up, saying it's because Mercury is out of retrograde would discredit everything you've had the strength + endurance to work towards + sustain for so many years.
