Project Description
The July Studio has been in my house as long as my kids! It was born out of the idea that I could work from home and create beautiful things that would make people feel like they were living in a dream BUT allow me to be home with my children.
Over time I built an Etsy, I started a t-shirt company with my oldest kid, I created costumes, wedding dress, cosplays, and fashion designs. And I outgrew my house.
Now I am looking to take The July Studio and move it into it's own space. I want a place where people can come in and SEE all the beautiufl things I have collected over the last 20 years. They can custom order items, take sewing lessons, and just be in a creative envoiment that celebrates creative thinking without boundries.
I already own the WHOLE STUDIO, I just need a jump start to get into a safe, secure, and well trafficed place.

- What do you make? The July Studio has made everything from Costumes, Cosplay, Steampunk, Wedding Dresses, Christening Gowns, Street Fashion, High Fashion, Burlesque, Theater, Theme Park apparel, Film apparel/ props, and SO MUCH MORE!
- How did you learn how to sew? I have seamstresses, quilters, and artists on both sides of my family. I just fell in love with the idea that clothing creates an image and that the image we see is powerful. It can create a mood, a mindset. It can even change people's minds.
- Why do you want your own space now? My young adult children are moving out on their own now. I want to create an environment that feels more like a business and less like a home for my studio.
- Do you teach sewing? Yes, I 100% love to teach others how to sew and create!
