Project Description
- Muva’s Model Magic web series was created to preserve the underrated art form of Modeling
- Real models aren’t offered many paid jobs because of the saturation of the industry by “Social Media Models” Muva’s Model Magic gives aspiring and working models an opportunity to showcase their talents in this competition style show.
- Thousands of models that have worked years at honing their craft and perfecting their art are being overlooked for opportunities because photographers and designers are choosing “insta models” over real models to save money. This often results in underwhelming, unprofessional images that doesn’t translate into sales.
- Muva’s Model Magic season 1 showed viewers the real hard work that models have to endure when booked for jobs. The overwhelming response has shown us that shows like this will bring light to an ongoing problem that almost no one that isn’t in the industry knows about.
- Because of the surprising response to Season 1, we are seeking funding to help film Season 2. Funding will be used for prize money for the grand prize winner and small rewards for each participant. This will free up some of the funding we have saved to purchase household necessities like toiletries and food also for marketing and advertising.
- We have an all female team of dedicated hard working women that have the same vision. The Makeup Muva LLC team as well as the host of Season 1, Singer Songwriter, Tyler Noel, are dedicated to creating an entertaining platform to continue showcasing ambitious models that are courageous enough to join the cast of Season 2 of Muva’s Model Magic!
