Here's why this product is so important: Working women today hustle like never before. We move from home, gym, train, office, client meetings, happy hour and back. We are looking for that one handbag that can do it all and compliments our style. Lastly, a magnetic clip inside the signature bag allows a signature clutch to clip in place, creating easy access to your lunch, toiletries, or anything else you want to keep close by. 

My target customers are working women between the ages of 21-65. These women commute on the train, they pack their lunches, and they go to the gym before or during work. They may even meet their girlfriends for dinner after work. They appreciate simple, classic, and chic fashion. Most of all, these women are pursuing multiple passions at a time. 

This bag and future bags of this line are specifically designed for high achieving women. They are setting big goals for themselves, whether it pertains to their personal development, fitness, or career. They appreciate functionality and are not willing to sacrifice it for professionalism or luxury.
 

Hi, I'm Makeda, and I'm the founder of Makeda Mikael. The inspiration for this product line came from my own personal experience. During my time as a Clinical Dietitian, I was tired of being mistaken for the intern when I showed up for work but I was carrying a backpack, a lunch bag, and a handbag. As a Dietitian starting my own private practice, I lost the trust of my future clients when I arrived at a coffee shop for our one-on-one sessions lugging all my bags with me. Now, as a nutrition professor, my students' first impression of me sets the tone for the rest of our semester. As an entrepreneur, my handbag IS my office, and must fit all my daily work essentials. These products were made for women like me, by me. If it does not work for me, then it's not good enough.
