Many people have discovered the benefits of Flaxseed Gel, but there's just on problem: you have to make it yourself. Flaxseed Gel is not widely available in stores or online.
While some people are fine with making flaxseed gel at home, many others would prefer to have a product that they can buy.
The products that are widely available in stores are using a flaxseed oil or flaxseed protein powder and they are calling their product flaxseed gel. They do this because it is easier to make and less expensive.
A true flaxseed gel is made by boiling flaxseeds in water. Once the flaxseeds are boiled a gel is released from the seeds. Flaxseed Gel contains nutrients like: Vitamin E, Vitamin B, Omega-3 and protein. The same health benefits or results are not contained in products that are using a Flaxseed Oil or Flaxseed Protein Powder.
Online, the brands that are not true flaxseed gels are heavily promoted and the two main competitors online that do sell a true Flaxseed Gel online are expensive ($20 -30). Our Flaxseed Gel is the best option because:

Why we need the funding
In order to make our product widely available when need to invest in having more inventory produced and more team members. We were in talks with retailers but at minimum we need at least 1,000 units to reach an agreement. We are killing it on social media and we know that if we increase our budget and our organic social media marketing efforts we will get more sales but we need the inventory to support this demand.
Who are we?
In 2008 founder Ariane Williams began her natural hair and body journey. By 2010 she built an online community of natural women by sharing hair tips and style ideas on her blog. In 2015 after the birth of her daughter due to hormonal changes her skin and hair was in bad shape, so she began crafting all-natural hair and body care. After enjoying her creations she decided to share her products with her audience in 2017 and the rest is history!

How did Reclaim Your Crown start?
In 2008, founder Ariane Williams stopped using relaxers to focus on the health of hair and began an interest in all things natural. By 2010, she built an online community of natural women by sharing hair tips and style ideas on her blog. After the birth of her daughter in 2015, she was experiencing a severe cystic Acne breakout and her hair was in bad shape due to hormonal changes. She began crafting her own natural hair and skin care after a visit to the dermatologist. The Dermatologist told her that she could not offer her any medications that would be safe because she was a breastfeeding mother. So she began crafting her own products for her skin and hair. After using and enjoying the products for a couple of years, in 2017 she began offering Reclaim Your Crown to her online audience and the rest is history!
Why did you launch your crowdfunding campaign?
Our crowdfunding campaign was created to raise funds for product manufacturing cost to meet the demand needed to be sold in retail and to be widely available online.

Do I have to have a certain hair type to use Flaxseed Gel?
No!
On curly hair types it can be used to created beautifully defined wash and go styles, twist outs, braid outs, finger coils and more.
For locs, our gel can be used for re-twisting.
Flaxseed Gel can be used on naturally straight hair or on straightened hair if you enjoy creating sleek ponytails and styles.
