The Campaign FAQs
1. How far is The Lodge from any major airports?
We are a 15-minute drive from the Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport (PIB), 1.5-hour drive from the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport (GPT), and 2 hours from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
2. Do you offer ground transportation?
We are more than happy to offer shuttle service from the Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport for an additional fee.
However, it's important to note that due to our rural location there is no public transportation allowing you to leave The Lodge to explore the area. If you are arriving by flight, we highly recommend that you rent a car and we are happy to assist you with this process.
3. How many people will you be able to accommodate?
After fundraising and completion of our renovation and construction, we will be able to accommodate 12 people in 5 Glamping Tents and 1 Tiny House Cabin.
If we exceed our goal we may be adding additional tents, which would be added to your "Full Lodge Buyout" reward at no additional fee.
4. Do you accommodate remote workers/ is there reliable wifi?
While we do have wifi in certain public spaces around the property, there is no wifi and limited cell service in our Glamping Tent area.
Our wifi is also not the most reliable or strong enough for extensive or speedy downloading/uploading.
5. How often will you host retreats?
This will depend on the response we get from our first visiting artist retreat! If there is a wide range of interest we would love to host at least once a month.

6. Do you get the funds even if you don't reach the full goal?
YES! This is one of the many reasons we chose to host with IFW! Any amount that you contribute becomes directly available to us allowing us to get to work ASAP.

Choose to practice in the comfort of your own home (Hattiesburg-Laurel area only), via Zoom (available worldwide), or visit our Forest Yoga Deck at The Lodge at Sweetwater Studios.
Your package includes an initial assessment where you can express areas you would like to improve or work on and five 60-minute yoga lessons*. After your five private classes, you also will receive via email a series of postures to help you maintain your desired intent.
(All yoga instruction led by Airon Whitt, 200-hour CYA instructor, and Reiki Master.)
*Switch any 60-minute yoga practice for Reiki session at no additional charge.
Our Full Moon Circle, is an all-inclusive women's art, yoga, and wellness retreat centered around the November full moon.
This 3-day, 2-night retreat will deepen your connection with the moon & her cycles through the art of female connection and ceremony.
- Learn how to use the moon for release and manifestation.
- Deep dive into Chandra Namaskar, the Moon Salutation, and learn about its restorative properties
- Connect with nature through forest bathing and found object weaving instruction and bring home your own forest creation.
- Uncover the power of the moon and create your own energy clearing mists for the home or body.

"Responding to Nature" is a 3-day, 2-night artist retreat that will focus on the organic, natural world around us through intuitive abstraction. We will explore mark making and the choice of value or color in approaching drawing or painting.
Participants will experience 10 hours of hands-on guidance and instruction by professional artist and educator Chatham Meade Kemp.
Starting at noon Friday, October 22, 2021, until 3p Sunday, October 24, 2021, you will have full access to the grounds of The Lodge at Sweetwater Studios, nightly shared accommodation in one of our Eco-Luxury Glamping tents, and all meals for this three-day, two-night retreat.
This retreat includes:
- Ten hours of artistic instruction with professional local artist and instructor, Chatham Meade Kemp
- Solo work and relaxation time
- Daily relaxing yoga and forest meditation
- All-access to Tropical Greenhouse Spa (sauna, hot tub, saltwater pool)

- All meals for the duration of the retreat
