At Locs of Love by Tee Hair Studio and Essentially Natural Co., our mission is to uplift, heal, and empower individuals through natural hair care, education, and culturally-rooted products. We provide more than just beauty services—we create sacred spaces where people feel seen, loved, and celebrated in their natural form.

The Problem We’re Solving

Far too often, people with natural hair feel overlooked, misunderstood, or forced to conform to beauty standards that don’t reflect who they truly are. Many also lack access to stylists who specialize in holistic, healthy hair practices or products made with their specific needs in mind. This disconnect can affect self-esteem, identity, and spiritual wellness.

The global natural haircare market is booming—projected to reach over $13 billion by 2028. Black consumers, in particular, are spending billions annually on haircare, yet many still struggle to find culturally conscious salons and products. There is a growing demand for inclusive, luxury spaces and clean, plant-based products designed for textured hair.

Locs of Love by Tee offers expert loc and natural hair services grounded in love, culture, and care. Alongside the studio, Essentially Natural Co. provides all-natural products and luxury accessories—like herbal oils, silk pillowcases, and satin durags—that promote healthy hair and self-love at home. Together, we serve as a bridge between professional care and everyday empowerment.

Why We’re Seeking Funding

We are seeking funding to:

• Expand the studio with upgraded tools, equipment, and wellness-centered features
• Develop and launch the full Essentially Natural Co. product line
• Hire and mentor new stylists to meet community demand
