OUR MISSION

More often than none, women are made to feel as if they have to choose. Either live the life you desire while putting your dreams on the back burner OR put your all into growing a successful business while neglecting your personal life. But as millennial women, we strongly believe that we can have it all. And we want to prove that you don't have to sacrifice your quality of life in order to get there. 

There are currently millions of articles online that will show you HOW to grow your business but not many will help you to live an intentional life as an entrepreneur, that's why we created Living Over Existing (a.k.a LOE).

Living Over Existing is a digital media company for the woman who wants to run a successful business without sacrificing the life she desires. 

Here we provide you with the advice, resources and community you need in order to successfully grow your business without sacrificing your quality of life or desires. We cover topics like marketing, content creation and monetization. But we cover lifestyle and wellness topics like time management, living a healthier lifestyle, dating while running a business, being a mom boss and more.

OUR AUDIENCE & MARKET SIZE

At the end of 2017, there were over 11.6 million women owned businesses in the US that generated over $1.7 trillion in sales. Numbers don't lie. Not only do women have the purchasing power but we're also starting businesses at a rapid rate and creating new opportunities for millions.

We aim to curate content for women entrepreneurs between the ages of 22-35. 67% of our audience also stated that they want to take their business to the next level, but feel as if certain aspects of their personal life is holding them back. They also have said that they have fallen victim to the "sleep when you die" culture and don't want to build a business if that means sacrificing their quality of life.

WHAT WE OFFER 

• Affordable workbooks and online classes that are centered around helping women to excel in specific areas of their life and business.
• Online articles curated by professionals in the business, wellness and lifestyle spaces.
• Weekly podcast episodes where we interview women from different industries on how they are growing their business and living their life on purpose.

WHY CROWDFUND?

While many startups focus on gaining funding by going the traditional venture capital route, we felt that in this stage we wanted to go with the option that would provide us with the most flexibility and control without compromising our message. 

THE MONEY RAISED WILL GO TOWARDS:

• Hiring 3 staff writers who are professionals in the business, lifestyle and wellness spaces.
• Hiring an editorial manager who will oversee the editorial calendar and staff.
• Revamping our website so that it is more functional for our users.
• If we hit our crowdfunding goal, we will also donate $1000 to another campaign on the iFundWomen platform.

Alisha Robertson is an author and creative business coach who has worked one-on-one with women entrepreneurs for over five years. Through her work Alisha has helped women to gain clarity, ditch fear and begin monetizing their purpose and passions online.
