HELP US PUBLISH THE MOST INCLUSIVE BOOKS!
IS THIS REAL LIFE?
3 years ago, we asked for your help to print 3 books. Now, we're an official publishing house - pinch us cause we must be dreaming! Our first 3 books were a wild success, and we have 5 more books for you - books we know are missing from the children's book industry.
INCLUSIVE AF
We pride ourselves on featuring photos you never see in children's books - like pregnant (Trans) dads, kids using feeding tubes and powerchairs, and families celebrating Ramadan.

WHY PHOTO BOOKS?
- Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers love photos of everyday kids...and they learn the most from books with photos too (ask any Montessori or preschool)!
- Only 13% of children's books represent our diverse world.
- Since we know so much about children's books, we decided to write what we know is missing.
WHAT AGES IS LITTLE FEMINIST FOR?
- Our board book set, We Are Little Feminists, was written with 0-5-year-olds in mind.
- Our three Spring 2023 books, All of Me is Nature, This Is My Body - I Get To Choose, and Little Faces Big Feelings, were written with 2-7-year-olds in mind.
- Our monthly subscription book club (littlefeminist.com) serves 0-9-year-olds. We curate our monthly book picks based on age.
- Don't have a 0-9-year-old in your life? You can donate your Little Feminist reward to a classroom in need!
WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
Our feminism is intersectional, which means it’s anti-racist, body-positive, trans & gender-fluid inclusive, and challenges ableism & classism.
We're about:
- Empathy will change the world, and we learn empathy from stories!
- All genders are brave AND kind. Books must encourage kiddos to be exactly who they are.
- Feminism is defined as the belief that all genders should have equal rights, which is why we should all be feminists!

- September - October 2022 - Crowdfunding & Pre-sales
- December 2022 - All rewards (except our 3 Spring titles) ship
- March 2022 - Our 3 Spring books arrive from the printer, and we ship them to families, educators, and schools around the world!

The Campaign FAQs
Should I get the 5-Book "We Are Little Feminists" Box Set or the 3 Spring books (All of Me Is Nature, Little Faces Big Feelings, and This Is My Body - I Get To Choose)?
Obviously, we think every household, school, and library should have all 8 of our books, but if you're deciding between our 5-Book Box Set OR our 3 Spring books we apologize for making this a very hard decision for you!
- Our 5-Book Box Set is: perfect for baby showers, made for 0-5-year-olds, durable and chewable.
- Our Spring books are: perfect for preschoolers, made for 2-7-year-olds, durable but not chewable.
And know you can always purchase (and pre-order) our all of our books individually on our website: littlefeminist.com/giftshop.
When will I receive my reward?
All rewards will be fulfilled in early December, with the exception of our Spring 2023 books (All of Me Is Nature, Little Faces Big Feelings, and This Is My Body - I Get To Choose). Our Spring 2023 books are scheduled to print in November, and will be arriving to our warehouse in February, which means you'll receive your We Are Little Feminists board books in March.
Do you ship internationally?
YES we do ship internationally! Read the description for each reward, and add the appropriate amount ($9.95 for Canada or $14.95 for all other countries) to your pledge so we can pay for international shipping for your order. In order for your pledge to process correctly, don't enter your international shipping address - we'll get that later.
What does feminism mean to you?
We like the Merriam-Webster definition of feminism - "the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes," but we like to replace "sexes" with "all genders" because we believe gender is a spectrum. We believe feminism MUST be intersectional, otherwise, it's simply another form of the patriarchy. Learn about intersectional feminism here.
