HERE ARE THE DETAILS!
Ki In This Moment Designs, a modern branding and graphic design studio, was created to provide Black womxn small business owners with high quality, intuitive and healing services within the design experience.
THE PROBLEM
Black womxn small business owners and their businesses are often not taken seriously.
- Black womxn small business owners tend to find "fast" designs to fit their needs. These designs are often soulless, glitter-font templates, purchased due to layered factors of lacking both adequate funds and belief in their unique business vision.
- Investors and prospective customers often undermine the integrity of the business, expecting lower quality. The quality of the branding being one that is less than the owner deserves, often plays a large role in how the business is perceived.

We deserve a BIG piece of the pie and we also deserve to look and feel our best when we step out to claim it!
WHY ME AND MY SERVICES?
Starting this business allowed me to step further into my own power, and you can too. I have been designing for over 15 years, with the motto: 'there’s an art to connection & connection through art'.
I understand my clients' strong desires and needs. We all want to make a life for ourselves and make a community-focused impact with our passion. As stated on my site: "I design for you because I am you, and I root for you as I root for myself".
THE BIG IDEA(S)
I'm raising $3,000 for the following operating costs:
- $3000 to fund purchasing (in full for minimum 2 years): equipment (higher capacity computer, headset, etc), all design programs (Adobe), and business management tools (HelloBonsai, SquareSpace, etc.). Your investment is a huge boost to the amazing momentum gained in 1 year of business, sending Ki In This Moment Designs to the next level of efficiency and quality.
- Anything above $3000 (STRETCH GOAL: $5000) and all future design services' profits go towards laying a strong foundation to maintain business matters for Ki In This Moment Designs, and create sustainable, community efforts such as food drives; as I make the steps towards building my youth learning initiative.

JULY - DECEMBER
- Attain design and business resources to keep Ki In This Moment Designs growing and thriving.
- Attract and maintain minimum 3 clients per month.
AUGUST - ONGOING
- Establish Ki In This Moment Designs as a consistently high quality, educational, and necessary branding resource for Black womxn business owners.
- Establish and sustain community via monthly food, clothing, book drives with donations; notably in rural areas.
2021-2023
- (Reaching 3 clients per month) Help 65+ Black womxn small business owners increase confidence, product visibility, brand recognition, and community impact with quality branding services.
- Create funding opportunities for 10+ Black womxn small business owners, via sponsored micro-donations.
- Establish learning initiative with quality teaching and learning materials.
- Grow (English) literacy and fluency for 100+ kids in Dakar and outlying, rural areas with quality resources and sponsored resources fund.
- Grow & establish my services (&future collaborative team) as offering a safe space and source for young learners to advance in all facets of education - closing the opportunity gap - through varied strategies and nourishment of mind and body.
- Grow to expand learning initiative's impact to farther, under-supported areas (& online).
- Sustain Ki In This Moment Designs to genuinely pour into the learning initiative and work within and together with local communities; adding support to the work already being done on the ground.

When will I receive my reward?

Your full branding design process will start when the campaign is closed. All updates on wait times will be posted on all social media sites.
