Our Mission 

• Boston United FC is dedicated to providing affordable and inclusive futsal opportunities for local athletes, fostering teamwork, fitness, and skill development in a positive and supportive environment. Our mission is to make high-quality futsal experiences accessible to everyone, regardless of financial background, while building a strong community of passionate players

Our current obstacles

• Access to affordable practice space is a significant barrier for our team. Futsal court rentals are costly, and without funding, our players—many of whom cannot afford high rental fees—face the possibility of losing a vital outlet for exercise, personal growth, and community connection. This lack of access limits our ability to practice, grow, and continue participating in competitive play.

What's the opportunity?

• The popularity of futsal is growing in the U.S., with increasing interest from players of all ages who are drawn to its fast pace and skill-focused nature. Boston’s youth and adult sports communities present a unique opportunity for expanding futsal as an accessible sport for personal development, social engagement, and recreation. With adequate support, Boston United FC can become a leading presence in local futsal, inspiring more individuals to join and grow the sport in the region.

What are we about?

• Boston United FC offers an organized futsal team environment that promotes skill development, teamwork, and a positive sports culture. By providing regular training and competitive opportunities, we create a supportive space for players to engage with the sport meaningfully. With additional funding, we can secure reliable practice spaces, which will allow our team to grow and continue contributing to the local futsal scene, encouraging accessibility and participation for all.

Why are we seeking funding?

• We are seeking funding to cover the high costs of court rentals, which are essential for our team’s ongoing development and participation. Every dollar raised will directly support booking regular practice spaces, allowing our players to train consistently and maintain team continuity. Additional funds will help us cover essential equipment costs and community outreach, enabling us to recruit and support even more players.

Who is on our team?

• Boston United FC is led by a group of passionate coaches and community members committed to making futsal accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Our team consists of 11 dedicated players from diverse backgrounds, all of whom bring unique skills and a shared passion for the game. Together, we work tirelessly to uphold our values of inclusivity, teamwork, and resilience. We do have a network of players we would like to expand to, which is currently 30 players total. We could reach more players in the community if we had a solid practice space each week.
