Project Description

Company Description

Julies & Riley Creative Co. is a fusion of vintage and modern jewelry and home goods, curated and picked to emulate eclectic style and aesthetic. J&R carries both vintage and new jewelry items and vintage home goods/clothing as well as upcycled items for a truly unique aesthetic. J&R is a local business based in Albuquerque, NM which partners with other local entities to create a micro boutique experience for people from all walks and price points. Jules & Riley strives to stock items for buyers in different price points to remain inclusive and accessible to people of all income levels. J&R believes that everyone should have access to nice things that express their unique style, without breaking the bank. Jules & Riley was founded by a working mom of 3 who began working from home to supplement her income and balance life as a mom with her creative endeavors.

Company Values:

From one era to the next—vintage for all.

Inclusivity.
At Jules & Riley Creative Co., I started with a simple mission: to make beautifully curated vintage goods and affordable jewelry accessible to everyday people.

I believe that everyone deserves to own special, well-loved pieces—without the high price tag. Whether you're a college student decorating your first apartment, a busy mom searching for something unique, or a retiree adding charm to your space, the goal is to bring you vintage treasures at everyday prices.

J&R is also passionate about sustainability. By encouraging thrifting and reuse, I hope to support a more circular economy—one that keeps items out of landfills and gives them new life in your home and wardrobe.

Jules & Riley is for anyone who loves character, story, and style—but may not have the time (or budget) to hunt through endless racks or expensive boutiques. At J&R, we believe vintage should be for everyone—and we’re here to help make that happen.

Pre-loved, reimagined, re-loved: Keeping good things going

Sustainability.

At Jules & Riley Creative Co., I believe that beautiful things shouldn't come at the expense of the planet—or your wallet. That's why sustainability is at the heart of what J&R does.

By giving pre-loved pieces a new life, J&R  helps keep items out of landfills and in the hands of people who will cherish them. Every thrifted find, vintage treasure, and thoughtfully sourced item is part of a bigger mission: to create a more circular economy—one where reuse is celebrated, not overlooked.

J & R is proud to be part of a community that values creativity, care, and conscious living. Whether you're shopping with J&R, donating, or just spreading the word, you're helping build a kinder, more sustainable way to live and shop. Together, we can make a difference, locally and globally—one meaningful piece at a time.

Local Pop Up Markets & Vendor Opportunities

At Jules & Riley Creative Co., we love connecting with our community face-to-face—and pop-up shops are one of our favorite ways to do it. These events give us a chance to meet customers where they are, share our curated vintage finds in person, and create a shopping experience that's personal, warm, and welcoming.

Pop-ups and local markets offer exciting income opportunities, especially during busy seasons, weekend events, or holiday markets. Because we specialize in one-of-a-kind vintage goods and affordable jewelry, these short-term setups allow us to move inventory quickly, showcase new finds, and build strong relationships with return customers and our community.

Revenue Potential

Pop-up sales can provide a significant income boost. By setting up at community markets, artisan fairs, school fundraisers, or small business events, we’re able to:

  • Sell directly to shoppers

  • Promote brand awareness

  • Gain new social media followers and online customers

  • Test new inventory types or price points in real time

Costs to Consider

While profitable, pop-up events come with upfront and recurring costs that we plan for carefully:

  • Booth or vendor fees (usually $25–$150 depending on the event, sometimes free depending)

  • Display materials (tables, racks, signage, baskets, mirrors, risers, etc.)

  • Packaging supplies (bags, tissue, stickers, price tags, business cards)

  • Decor to reflect our brand vibe (linens, crates, flowers, etc.)

  • Transportation (loading/unloading goods, travel time, possible gas or rental costs)

  • Event-specific branding (custom signage or promotional flyers)

We treat these investments as essential tools to grow both sales and visibility. Over time, these reusable items—paired with thoughtful planning—make pop-up events a sustainable and profitable part of our business model.

Why It Matters

These events help keep vintage alive in the modern world. By showing up at local markets, we're not just selling—we're starting conversations, supporting the circular economy, and connecting with shoppers who value story, sustainability, and style.

The Campaign FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions:

Why Don't you have a brick and mortar?:

Micro boutiques enable me to work with and partner locally with other businesses as well as benefit both of us mutually. For small businesses, advertising and media is expensive. This model enables us to cross promote and bring in new customers for each other.

Couldn't people just go shopping at a thrift store on their own?:

YES! They absolutely can and in fact, J&R encourages them to in their free time. Thing is, a lot of people are busy. By buying at a Micro Boutique, we are working with your busy schedule and curating items for you and presenting them in a place that saves you time. Need a gift for a co-worker? Grab one while you stop for your morning coffee at your local coffee spot. Want to find something unique but don't have time to sift through the racks at larger vintage and thrift retailers? Don't worry, we did it for you and made it easy for you to purchase on the go. Not sure about the high prices at vintage specialty stores/estate sales? We promise to hand pick and curate unique finds at a fair  price. We don't want to gouge consumers, we want to empower them to make beautiful and sustainable choices, not break the bank.

Why does thrifting even matter? Even thrift stores are selling things like fast fashion these days:

You are correct. And by thrifting them, curating them and showing the consumer what you can do with these items in a styled and different capacity and context, you are helping keep items out of landfills, in use longer and inspiring people to reconsider fast fashion and mass produced goods. Who wants their family heirlooms to be from Target, anyway?

I’d love to engage directly! Please ask Me anything at my IG: @Julesandriley_creative_co  and let’s connect!
