Hi friends!
I'm Joelle, and I am building a womenswear brand of elevated essentials for day-to-day life, designed with Black women in mind.
Many of you have followed my journey leading up to this point; from my fashion show competition days in undergrad, to working for brands like Athleta and Spanx, where I learned how to design with inclusivity and women's needs as priorities. Now, I'm (finally!) taking that leap of faith and launching my own brand. While I've been able to self-fund a lot of the initial costs of development and getting production started, I'm quickly learning just how capital intensive apparel manufacturing is. That's where you come in:)
My vision is to provide responsibly-made pieces that will offer her wardrobe more versatility and longevity. Essentials that are a lot less disposable-- a much more practical way to approach sustainability within fashion.
I've secured a factory in New York and plan to launch this Fall. I am elated to bring the vision to reality and see all the ways it'll impact my community!
Thank you in advance for your contribution in getting my brand off the ground. It means so much!
