- What is the mission of your company or project? Our goal is to provide a healthy alternative fast food to our community.
- Describe the problem you are solving. The problem we are solving is by creating a friendly environment for our neighbors while offering them gourmet meal replacement shakes that offer all essential vitamins and proteins needed, metabolism boosting herbal teas, and healthy iced coffees. We don't have anything like this in the surrounding areas.
- What is the market size/opportunity? The market size is endless. Other nutrition clubs are extremely successful in their regions and one in ours in needed! Our location is also very ideal. We have placed ourselves in between two gyms for steady business as well as being road front on the way out to Folly Beach, SC.
- What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem? Our company is called James Island Nutrition. We are a nutritional cafe that offers meal replacement shakes, herbal energy/metabolism boosting teas, and healthy protein iced coffees that come in unlimited flavors. We use all Herbalife products to create our drinks. Shakes are full of nutrients, under 250 calories, 24 grams of protein, 21 vitamins and minerals, tastes like dessert & keeps you full! Energy teas have low calories, boosts energy, digestive support, B vitamins, & promote mental focus!
- Why are you seeking funding and how will you spend the funding? We are seeking funding because we have hit so many brick walls trying to come up with our start up costs and are desperately seeking help!
- Who is on your team? My team is my bestfriend Bri and I! We are so passionate about health and fitness and really want to give that to our community!
