Project Description

Investment Piece is a fashion blog where you can find exquisite outfit inspiration, places and pieces to shop, and styling tips. Yet, we are more than that. We at Investment Piece recognize that historically fashion has been seen as "meaningless women's work" and frivolous. We respectfully disagree. We think that fashion is powerful, that it has an impact on our communities, and plays an important part in women telling their stories. At Investment Piece we actively work to let women tell their stories. We also actively showcase fashion companies who are owned by women; and also those companies who are working to positively impact the environment, their communities, and women. Investment Piece has showcased BunnyJack Gives, a company and foundation using luxury resale to give back to the community; have an upcoming piece on how disabled women use fashion to express themselves, and many more.

This funding will allow us to grow in a variety of ways. We will be able to upgrade our technology, expand our advertising, travel to companies, and pay our overhead. Investment Piece is growing rapidly, and we believe this funding will allow us to grow even more, and in the right ways.

Yes, Fashion blogging is an oversaturated market, and the ever changing social media apps can make finding and holding an audience difficult. We are aware that the bottom may fall out, and several bloggers who do this as a hobby will quit. This is not a hobby to us. We pride ourself on producing high quality, editorial-like outfit posts. We hope to stand out by our constant and passionate showcasing of brands who are doing good. We believe we will survive through our relationships with brands, our relationships with consumers, and our impeccable quality.
