Intentional Inclusivity at The Lola

The Lola has a mission to be an anti-racist community and a space for all womxn. We have made some strides over the past couple of years in recruiting a diverse community of womxn and learning how we can better support our Black members and womxn of color, but we still have a ways to go. We see our efforts to be an intentionally inclusive space where womxn of all races, backgrounds and ages feel they belong as a huge opportunity - many womxn's communities and spaces still remain fragmented and segregated and we believe there is a ton of value to connect with other supportive womxn who you normally wouldn't meet in your current personal and professional networks. If we can bridge gaps across races, generations and experiences, we will all learn, grow and thrive together.

In order to continue our efforts and properly view everything we do through the lens of all womxn, we need help. We are seeking funding to support these efforts and to bring on a strategic consultancy who specializes in this space - Vivian & Virginia Ventures. This company also happens to be led by two amazing Black womxn entrepreneurs who we're thrilled to support and work together with.
