Inclusive Community Creative Arts Farm
Help us bring Art, Music and Equine-Assisted Therapies to Autism and Disadvantaged Children
Project Description
Foxtrot Woodys Mom LLC is an aspiring Community Development Corporation Non-Profit focused on Autism, the Developmentally Disabled, and Disadvantaged Children. We have recently acquired our nursery license and have focused on rehabbing 40 acres of land into a Community Creative Arts Farm and Market. Our barn will serve as an open vendor farm market on the weekends; presenting opportunities for women in business and disabled owned businesses to sell their products and market their business/services. During the week, the Foxtrot Woodys Mom is partnering with businesses that provide services in healthcare to our targeted population; additionally, Foxtrot Woodys Mom and our team of businesses will host inclusive camps (both therapeutic and recreational) in agriculture, equine-assisted programs, art, outdoor learning, and music throughout the property, including spaces we have created in our forest.
Foxtrot Woodys Mom has been partnering with elite businesses focused on Mental Health, Art & Art Therapy, Music & Music Therapy, Salt Floating, Outdoor Learning, Massage, Chiropractic Care, Equine-Assisted Therapies and Programs, Research, Pediatric Medicine, Mental Health, Neurology, Housing, Employment, Legal Services, and Education throughout the State of Delaware since 2021; all of whom are willing to expand their services to our facility in order to make our dream of bringing Creative Arts and Agriculture to Autism and Disadvantaged Children a reality.
We are currently raising funds in order to continue repurposing a former horse training facility into a Market/Camp space for the most disproportionately affected populations of Covid-19. Additionally, we will using funds raised here to complete our interactive art trail for Developmentally Delayed Children, their therapists, and caregivers. Will you help us forever change the lives of America's most underserved?
