OUR COLORFUL JOURNEY

Remember that old phrase, "If you look up (insert word) in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of that word"?  It was always attached to a negative word.  We have flipped the script and created something positive.  #IDefineMe is a social movement to kick bullying labels in the teeth and proclaim your power to the world.  It's about empowerment and designed to share the amazing stories of what defines you, because we define our path. 

Our mission is to showcase empowerment.   We will feature your stories on our Shesaurus dictionary-thesaurus with the word and add your picture.  So when your peers look up, "Trendsetter, Fearless Warrior, Prolific Innovator, Her Royal Flyness or Mombshell", they will see a picture of YOU!  

Words tell stories and we want to share your story with others.  Have you ever heard the words, Burrnesha or Bacha Bazi?  Well their stories are one of great courage and determination, but you'd never know because you can't find the word on any reference site and that's a problem. 

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

As our language, social commentary and cultural diversity continues to grow and evolve, we deserve a reference site that will grow with it. Journey with us as we embrace the many colorful words of the world.  This is your dictionary-thesaurus.  We define who we are.  Our goal is to build an open source platform for all to share their stories through words.

We are creative writers, editors, bloggers, humanitarians, entrepreneurs and activists who service the community.

With your help we will build a global open source platform that will allow users the ability to share, edit and submit to our growing database.  Imagine an international museum of words that you help curate!
