HR Center for HR Career Hopefuls
Make the Change, LLC is raising funds to develop a Human Resources hub to train and employ HR career hopefuls who are unable to find a job.
Project Description
MISSION:
Our mission is to help recent HR college graduates secure employment immediately after graduation and to help career transitioning professionals gain experience in HR.
PROBLEM:
College HR graduates and career transitioning professionals are not being hired in HR positions because they don't have any HR experience. Businesses are not filling HR vacancies because they require HR experience even for entry level HR positions.
SOLUTION:
Make the Change, LLC (MTC) will leverage existing professional relationships to secure additional HR contracts enabling us to provide paid work opportunities to HR career hopefuls. The beauty of this is that no employee will ever pay to work with Make the Change because although we will help employees find permanent employment, this is not a staffing agency. As our way of giving back to the community, after 1 year of employment with MTC, we will provide job placement assistance at no cost to the employee.
There is also an advantage for employers. By partnering with us, businesses will receive high quality HR support services at discounted rates then be able to direct hire an experienced HR professional at the conclusion of the contract.
THE ASK:
I am seeking funding for payroll and benefits expenses to hire 1) a proposal writer to assist with securing HR contracts and 2) 1 recent HR graduate and 1 career transitioning professional.
MTC TEAM:
Our current team consists of an HR Administrator/IOP graduate student who began as an intern this year and is now assisting me with HR contracts (yes, we are already making this work!), and me, President, owner, trainer and HR consultant. We plan to add HR Consultants to assist with training and contract work for our HR hires.
MTC VISION:
Our vision is that after the successful launch of our HR hub, others will launch similar hubs not only in the HR industry but in all industries where graduates and career transitioning professionals find it hard to gain experience to secure employment.
This HR development center will change the lives of so many HR hopefuls while fulfilling HR support needs for businesses worldwide. The need for this hub is there. We just need your support. I thank you in advance for your contribution.
