Magnolias Royal Service

Project Description
I. Introduction
As an immigrant living in Montreal and founder of Magnolias Service Royal, I have observed that many immigrant women, particularly those from the United States and other countries, face difficulties integrating into the workforce.
These women often face major obstacles such as language barriers, a lack of appropriate training, and a lack of understanding of the Quebec job market. These challenges limit their opportunities for stable employment and contribute to their economic insecurity.
With this in mind, I hope, through Magnolias Service Royal, to implement a housekeeping training program for 200 immigrant women to provide them with concrete skills and promote their professional integration.
II. Context and Rationale
Housekeeping is a sector in high demand in Quebec, particularly in the residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. Yet, many immigrant women lack access to the necessary training to enter this market professionally and safely.
My project aims to: Train 200 immigrant women in professional housekeeping techniques.
Strengthen their financial independence by providing them with access to sustainable employment opportunities.
Encourage entrepreneurship by supporting some participants who wish to start their own housekeeping businesses.
