Project Description
Introducing the Snuggy Buddy Wearable Lovey Blanket.
Designed to solve the problem of not being able to safely leave a toy in the crib with your baby, to help soothe them while they sleep.
Like many other moms, I struggled getting my kids to sleep through the night. They each needed the soft comfort of their lovey to help soothe them while they slept. But as it's not safe to leave a lovey or loose toy floating in the crib. I struggled to find a product that would help them sleep through the night. At 6 months old, my daughter had still not slept through the night. Finally, (after way too many hours of lost sleep) I was determined to find a way! I designed my first prototype.
The first night my daughter used it, she slept through the night and the Snuggy Buddy was born!
Why Do We Need Support?
After recently being laid off due to COVID downsizing, I have decided to take the opportunity to turn my passion project into a reality and help babies everywhere Sleep Sound and Dream Big!
This project has been in the works for the past 2 years, refining, designing, testing and perfecting it! It's been my passion project since I created it to help my kids sleep and it worked the first day my daughter used it.

The Details
Our Wearable Lovey Blanket features a premium triple-layer wearable blanket made of pre-washed muslin, with a plush lovey (also known as Buddy the Butterfly!) securely attached at chest height. The body of Buddy the Butterfly is weighted to mimic a gentle soothing comfort of a parent's touch. This helps release Oxytocin - the "cuddle hormone"! Helping baby feel safe, soothed and comforted, thus, helping them sleep longer too!
The Snuggy Buddy is designed with both parents and baby in mind. It features snaps on each shoulder and zippers fully down each side, to get a sleeping baby in and out with ease! And for easy middle of the night diaper changes. (Also, equally easy for both righty and lefty parents alike!)
Each box includes an insert which features a short story about Buddy the Butterfly, for you to read to your baby at bedtime (or any other time too!).

- Is it safe?
YES! This product is created for safety. I invented it because I couldn't find anything on the market that would keep my babies safe and give them the comfort of their favorite toy. So we meet and exceed all required and additional elective safety testing, to ensure we are bringing you the best and safest possible product.
- How does it work?
The weighted body of the butterfly lovey helps mimic the gentle soothing feel of a parent's touch. While the soft plush wings act as soothing flaps for baby to hold, giving them the feel and comfort of their favorite toy. Each helps release Oxytocin. Also known as the cuddle hormone! Helping your baby feel safe, soothed and calm, thus helping them sleep longer!
