Help us Empower women through holistic hair care

Our mission is to raise awareness for holistic hair care. As a hair dresser for 13 years, I have seen so many women suffer from hair damage and scalp issues stemming from harsh chemicals in hair colors, treatments, and methods used by uneducated stylists. I have worked with women all across the country try and even in other countries that have experienced some type of hair damage or scalp irritation from getting their hair done. Working with cancer patients, pregnant women, and nursing mothers has been a real eye opener to how limited they are when it comes to finding the right products and the right stylist who will take care of their hair. Beauty schools are only teaching and preparing stylists for state board exams and licensing. Once in the salon, most stylists cease to continue any form of education when it comes to the chemistry of color and human anatomy and physiology. This campaign reaches out to anyone who uses hair color or who has step foot into a hair salon. It also will reach out to hairdressers to continue education on how color really works and the way it effects our hair and health overall. We will be teaching hair dressing techniques and styling methods that are least invasive to clients by helping stylists understand the science behind all colors and treatments used in salon and how to use them effectively and will give alternatives to harmful chemicals. We also strive to educate clients on how to use proper tools and products for home care and styling. By educating stylists in our industry, mostly women, we will also help them increase their client base and loyalty, which will in turn make them more profitable. Most stylists and salon owners alike live paycheck to paycheck, making them dependent on other family members or another source of income. This campaign will focus on providing holistic hair care and emphasize the importance of continuous education in our ever changing industry. We strive to build confidence through hair health and beauty and empowerment of hairdressers and clients alike. We will use the funding from this campaign to reach out to larger audiences and provide tools, products, and education to both stylists and clients. My highly educated team of stylists, consists of a diverse group of women from all backgrounds, who have hair textures ranging from natural African-American hair to super fine Northern European hair to thick and coarse Indian hair.
