Sol y Alma Retreats empowers people through transformative yoga retreats that blend holistic fitness and cultural immersion. As an African American woman with nearly 10 years of global retreat experience, I’m launching my first retreat in Bávaro, Punta Cana, June 6–11, 2025.

• Why are you raising $14,000?
The $14,000 will cover the full cost of the Bávaro villa rental, which is $14,750 including taxes, for the 5-night retreat from June 6-11, 2025. This ensures I can launch my new business without financial risk, even if bookings are lower than expected.
• What happens if you don’t reach the $14,000 goal?
iFundWomen operates on an all-or-nothing model, meaning if we don’t reach $14,000 by May 31, 2025, no funds will be collected, and the retreat won’t proceed. Your pledges are only charged if the goal is met, ensuring your support is risk-free.
• How will the retreat work with 14 participants?
The retreat is designed for an engaging, personalized experience with up to 14 guests. Activities like daily yoga, a party boat excursion, and a Dominican food tour are scaled to this size, ensuring a high-quality, community-focused escape tailored by my decade of expertise.
• What if I contribute but can’t attend the retreat? Your contribution funds the villa rental, not a specific spot. If you can’t attend, you’ll still receive the chosen reward (e.g., virtual yoga session or discount for a future retreat) within 30 days, and I’ll use the funds to ensure the retreat proceeds for others.
