Having a place to live is essential to everyone. We believe that rent payment shouldn't be a burden. Our mission is to eliminate the rent payment burden that millions of renters in the U.S. faces. By providing flexible rent payment options that allows them to pay their rent in partial payments.

The problem 

Rent payments are increasing all around the United States. Rent prices hit a record high in July for the 17th consecutive month. The national median rent hit a new record high of $1,879. That's up 12% according to Realtor.com. Millions of renters are struggling to keep up with their rent payments, and moving into a new apartment has been costlier for renters. During the pandemic I worked at a residential property where I saw many people get evicted because they couldn't afford to pay their rents. Millions of renters consider rent payments a cost burden, and one of the main issues is that they do not have different payment options available to them to pay their rent. 

The Solution

That's why we are introducing flexible rent payment options. Our goal is to deliver a range of multiple payment options to renters for them to pay their rent. For years Americans struggle to keep up with rent payments and are only able to pay their rent in full payment because they do not have different rent payment options available to them. We are changing the way that renters pay their rents, our payment settlements method would allow renters to pay their rent in partial payments and give them more time to pay. 

Market opportunity

Housing is one of life's necessities and rent payments continue to rise year after year. Unexpected circumstances can happen to anyone and cause a significant amount of stress for us. At Rezude our vision is to help the 44 millions renters in the U.S take on their most significant expense. By offering them a better way to pay for their most important bill. We have the opportunity to change the future of rent payment and the way renters pay for their rents. 

Funding 

My goal is to create a mobile app for rezude that would allow us to put rent payment at the renters fingertips and provide them with the partial rent payments method. I am a black woman who's extremely dedicated and passionate about achieving my goals, and this project is very dear to my heart because I am a renter as well and a lot of time I face financial difficulty, and I wish there were other options available for me to pay my rent. Rezude is vital to renters, it needs to be created. With everyone's help I will be able to bring this to renters and make an impact in people's lives.
