Project Description
Roanoke has a lot to offer for children; it’s one of the things that I love about raising children here. But one area where we are lacking is competition in the gymnastics field. Roanoke houses only 2 competitive gymnastics gyms, none of which are situated to serve the Salem, Botetourt, and South Rockbridge areas. So we are opening our own gym! Our North Roanoke County location is easily accessible via I81, making us the perfect location to serve these areas! While we have what we need to get classes for our youngest gymnasts, ages 1-5, off the ground, financing the equipment needed for older kids recreational classes and competitive teams is a much more daunting task. Would you consider helping us build our small, women and minority owned business and give the Roanoke Valley the inclusive, inspiring gymnastics gym that it needs?

$50,000 is needed to expand the space we are in ($15,000), plus purchase 2 high beams ($12,000), a set of uneven bars with mats and trainers ($10,000-12,000), a vault table, springboard, and training mats ($8,000-10,000), and a single bar trainer ($3,000). - Who will be served at this facility?
At Ring Gymnastics, we strive to be inclusive of all abilities, backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and athletic goals. Our recreational program encompasses all genders. Our competitive program will focus on USAGYM Women's Gymnastics, with the hope of expanding to Men's Gymnastics in the future. - Who are we?
