Project Description
Hi friends! I’m Jasmine Valdes, an independent artist & songwriter! I’m making my second EP & I’d love for you to be part of it! Being an independent musician, I fund all my own projects out of my own pocket. For my debut Ep, this looked like freelancing my social media management skills, working at a venue, and multiple other jobs.
This time around, I wanted to change things up a bit…that’s where YOU come in!! For my next EP, I am challenging myself to crowdfund the recording cost of creating this project.
My goal is to raise a minimum of $13,500!! This goal is not only covering the cost of my recording but it will also create 7 jobs for other independent artists, producers, musicians, mixing & mastering engineers, and a photographer!
When you support my campaign, I want to express my gratitude back to you in the form of little rewards like limited edition merch, handmade goodies, exclusive listening, behind-the-scenes content, and more!
As a songwriter, I aim to create songs that feel like an extension of who I am, while reflecting on the feelings and experiences I’ve lived throughout my life. Over this past year, I feel like I have truly written songs that showcase exactly that, and with an incredible set of musicians, friends, and your contributions I couldn’t be prouder of this project we are making together.
I am BEYOND excited for these records to come to fruition and am BEYOND grateful for any and all of your support!

I want to purchase more than one reward. Can I do that?
Absolutely! You are able to select and add multiple rewards to your cart. <3
I just want to contribute, and not purchase a reward. What do I do?
The first reward listed is Monetary Option. Select this reward, type in the amount you'd like to contribute, and that amount will be added to fund.
I want a certain reward, but I'd like to contribute more than the reward price. What do I do?
Select the reward you would like to purchase, and then select the "Monetary Option" reward and fill in the additional amount you would like to contribute.
What types of payment do you accept?
Stripe will be accepted. Please let me know if Stripe is not an option for you and we will find another solution like Venmo, Zelle or others !
When will your album be released?
We are in the recording stage of the album and it is set to release soon! Follow me on social media to stay updated on the final date, shows, merchandise, and any other release information!
Why $13,500?
The cost of creating a project requires hours sometimes even days of studio time, hiring a producer, engineer, musicians, and a mastering engineer. The planing process also requires hours of strategy and preparation for release dates! $13,500 is our budget for all the things mentioned prior which excludes marketing, promotion, distribution, merchandise, and more (which will be covered out of pocket).
