Help Me Finally Make My Own Business!

The mission behind this project is to help raise money for my business start-up in Columbus Ohio.  I have spent 24 long years making big-name companies like H&R Block and Liberty earn over 250k in revenue per year from my expertise and tax knowledge. It is finally time for me to have my own successful business. 

So far  I have built up 482 clients for the upcoming 2024 season and can't seem to pull funding or assistance with some of the expenses I have to get started. At this point, I would like to take on new clients. For example, clients who have not filed in a couple of years or potential clients who need help with business formation or owe the IRS money and need assistance with tax debt relief.  Unfortunately, I can not offer these services outside of tax season because I do not have the funds to get there. 

I am a one-employee business my market is wide open but limited to what I can handle.  In the near future and possibly this coming season I will be able to hire help, but as of right now, I will take on the number of clients I can handle. My max is about 700.  I would like to teach my daughter taxes as well and help pay for the schooling she would need to work with me. 

With an average of 400 clients paying $250 each, I'm looking to pull in $100,000.00 in 4 months (Jan-April). Of course, some client fees would be less and some more. These calculations are only based on what I feel would be average. 

My company offers to following;

1. Notary Services (in office and mobile)
2. Personal Income Taxes
3. Business income taxes (1120,1120's, and 1065)
4. Not for Profit Tax returns (990)
5. Business formation services ( LLC, LLP, S-Corp filings)
6. ITIN applications and processing 
7. Tax Debt Relief Services 
8. Estate Planning Services 
9. Tax Advisory Services.

The funding I would need to help pay for the following;

1. Continuing Education (Required IRS CE's) $1900
2. Software for 2024 and prior years $1695
3. 2nd computer and monitors $600
4. Marketing & Branding from now until December 2024 $4500
5. Office Supplies (paper, ink, folders, business cards, flyers) $600

Any help even $5 would be much appreciated. I have worked very hard trying to build this business from nothing to something. I have tried loans and because the business is new, banks won't help until I start showing mass revenue (which won't happen until February 2025). I have around 13 grant applications out there but have not heard back and some I won't hear about until the end of the year which will be too late.

I have always been very skeptical about asking for help upon what others would say because I have always been very independent and always find ways to get the things I need but I'm in a jam! I think it is finally time to let go of all of that and finally open up and hopefully find the help that I need on the grace of you amazing people (with the advantage of getting an amazing tax analyst to help with taxes and many more) I would love to get the ball rolling and finally have the business I've been dreaming of my whole life!
