Project Description

  • The motto of my company is “ Where Life is Oh So Sweet”. I always wanted to create a product that people enjoyed and could share while making beautiful memories. Customers come to me for birthdays, gender reveals, baby showers, weddings, and holidays. All of which are times to enjoy your loved ones around delicious food. I am a young, black female baker who has always loved to cook and bake! Growing up in a poorer area, there aren’t many entrepreneurs, so I took valuable skills taught to me by my grandmother and creates them into my own dessert line! I also aimed to open my bakery where I could host classes, experiences, and events for all! I want to show the young black youth, that you can create success off of your creativity and what makes you special! I love making people happy and creating smiles thru my desserts! Right now, I don’t have any employees. The pandemic has made it difficult to afford payroll and other things that can bring in more revenue. I am working solely alone in all parts of my business, and I want to raise funds in efforts to build a strong team, so that we can produce more product, more classes, and better experiences for the consumer. I want to stay open as long as I can to show perseverance and dedication.
