Our mission:

The Intuition School provides meditation online courses and retreats in nature that center Black womxn.

What is the problem?

There is a lack of resources and support, but an abundance of social demands and stressors, on Black womxn's health and wellbeing. Many people, sometimes even Black womxn, believe this makes our population more resilient than others. In reality, too many Black womxn are experiencing the depths of depression, and even other more severe mental health challenges, alone. At The Intuition School, we believe reconnection to spiritual strength is the antidote, a reclamation and reparation of our humanity.

What is our market size and opportunity?

The Intuition School centers Black womxn who are dedicated to their physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. There are more than 22 million just in the US, and more than 10 thousand in our social media community.

What is our solution?

We solve the resource gap problem by providing a holistic program that addresses:

1. The lack of educational ease with a simple, sustainable, and proven successful meditation course curriculum
2. The mountain of stress on Black womxn by providing a moment of pause and self focus with an immersive retreat experience in nature
3. The reality of loneliness, lack of support, and accountability with a joyfully engaged, passionate, like-minded community

Why are we seeking funding?

We are raising $72K on IFundWomen to fund the development of our meditation retreat and course programming.

Who are we? (Team)

The Intuition School team is uniquely qualified and ready to ease this problem. Why? Firstly, we are seasoned, effective educators: well trained, researched, and evidence-based in our innovative, trailblazing practices. Importantly, we are also our own customers. Not only do we live the experience of Black womxn, we used these practices to get here to our own bliss state, and our team continues to use our curriculum daily with our community.
