Snap Scene will be the first experiential exhibition space that is truly accessible and reflective of the times. Patrons are provided with visuals they can identify with and relate to regardless of race, size, or ability.
THE PROBLEM SNAP SCENE IS TACKLING
Most interactive experiential brands in the NYC area are in Manhattan, where mass transit is needed or most will have to pay for parking. Very seldom do you find a interactive install that accommodates weights over 250 lbs. Lastly, interactive installs do not amplify the voices of disparaged groups. Patrons feel left out and do not get the same experience as others although they are paying the same price.
Snap Scene is located in an area where parking is accessible minimizing the need for mass transit. Installs accommodate weights upwards of 600lbs. An alternative to the problems noted above does not currently exist in the NYC/Long Island area. Snap Scene has identified this void in the market.

- The business manager that wants to add some pizzazz to their next team building event.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
With the world pretty much at a standstill during the pandemic, most if not all things have gone virtual. There is a new way of interacting and showcasing a plethora of things. As more and more people begin to rely heavily on imagery, how do we provide adequate representation if we are not able to access the same things as others in the same manner as others? Additionally, some just want to have fun and deserve to do so in an accommodating environment.
PURPOSE OF FUND RAISING
All startups cost were paid for out of pocket. I am raising $30,000 in funding being that the cost associated with ensuring installs are structurally sound and the art work is culturally reflective of the times is more than your basic installs. 100% of the proceeds of this campaign went to fees, licensing and construction. Although we are opened, we are still in need of support for month to month expenses.
